MOvMNT Dance Company will enrich Cedar Rapids and the surrounding communities by promoting dance and providing dance education and performance opportunities, for young and old alike.

OvMNT Dance Company was founded by Cedar Rapids native Lovar Davis Kidd in August of 2007 and incorporated in the state of Iowa in May of 2008 after several years of planning and discovery.

MDC members come from Burlington, Cedar Rapids, Davenport, Hiawatha, Manchester, Vinton, and Waterloo. Company members perform throughout the Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, and Quad Cities areas, and are available to travel throughout the US.

MOvMNT Dance Company is a certified 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
