I've had my own camera since I was about 15 (a Kodak disc camera), but had used my Dad's old camera before that. It was followed by a Canon T50 in 1985, then a T70 in 1988. After the T70 was stolen in 1999, I again replaced it with a used T50 & T70. In the meantime, I bought my first digital camera (a way-too-expensive 640x480 res) in 1997 in HK, followed by a Canon PowerShot A5 in 1999. That was upgraded to a PowerShot A80 in 2004, and then finally a Nikon D70s dSLR in 2006 (having sold the analog equipment). In 2009 I upgraded to a D300s. I've also added a Samsung NV11 for easy travel. For a really quick shot I had a Sony Ericsson K610i 2-megapixel camera phone, but upgraded that to a Samsung Galaxy smartphone with 5 MP.
