I'm a musician specializing in jazz, folk and world musics, living near San Francisco. I play viola and violin, also sing and play ukulele, and I've also learned and performed on many other kinds of stringed instruments. I've lived, worked and performed music in Japan, China and Hawaii, and I'm interested in many different cultures.

I'm also a financial services professional with more than 12 years in brokerage (providing portfolio advice), mutual funds (training reps on product and portfolio knowledge), and retirement plan administration. My special area of interest now is the precious metals (silver and gold bullion and coins).
