I am a South African living in New York City. I first picked up a camera in 1997, but really had no idea what I was doing. My dad had some old dark room equipment, that I set up in the bathroom of our house ~ my love of photography was born.
I have only become serious about my shooting in the past few years, as my knowledge and technical skills grow, so does my love for all things photographic.
I love faces, and lanscapes and urban scenes and abstracts and macros and and and... in short- I love a gripping image.
My dream is to be a full time photographer, but in the mean time Im doing what I can to learn and grow as much as possible in every aspect of my work.
I find inspiration every day on Flickr, and am amazed at the stunning talent out there...!
My newest camera is a Mamiya C330, which I got as a gift and am yet to play with on a serious level... besides a fun session on top of the Hancock building in Chicago, I have hardly used it at all, My everyday camera is my Nikon D200, what a beauty... now to save up and buy some different lenses. So much to learn, so much to shoot.
