Over the past year-and-a-bit, i have found myself intrigued by the vast array or interestingness, both past times and present day which can me found in his, how i can only describe as "Unique" Collection of photography.
  
  Alan seems to have (from what i can gather) a similar interest in the field of Buses to myself, which is pretty much "out with the new and in with the old".. He has commented many times how much he preferred the old Bristol VR's and Leyland Atlanteans to the current array of ADL products on display throughout the Carlisle area and wider afield!
  
  I find a certain interestingness in Alan's great selection of buses from all operators, not like most (and myself) just the one! This makes for good viewing, and on many an occasion, upon logging into this site i have found myself not looking immediately for any fresh comments, messages or such like, but navigating straight to his stream, to view whatever "Different" subject matter has appeared (Quite often through the night!)
  
  All i can say is, keep taking excellent shots, and keep posting the oldies! there is nothing better than a bit of good old nostalgia to get the old brain lulling over bygone eras!
