Growing-up near southern England's beautiful New Forest and coast, I gained an interest in nature and creative photography from a young age, regularly travelling out with a camera to capture the natural surroundings.
Now based in rural Suffolk, UK, I've has continued to expand my creative style, producing evocative images of the natural world and our surroundings, with photographs regularly appearing in magazines and exhibitions and gaining international awards.
In 2011, the "Pink Tulip, Study IV" was selected for inclusion in the prestigious Royal Academy of Arts "Summer Exhibition" in London.
During 2010, I received the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) "Photographer of the Year" and "Peter Grugeon Award" as well as B+W Photography Magazine's "Photographer of the Year 2010" and the "Digital Printer of the Year 2010" awards.
With a strong determination to maintain the character and detail in every image, I use high quality digital and medium format film cameras and lenses, and produce prints using fine-art Photo Rag papers with archival-quality pigment inks.
I'm an Associate member of the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP).
Other qualifications: BSc(Hons) Degree in Environmental Science from Plymouth University and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Remote Sensing (Earth imaging) from University College London.
My work is represented by a number of fine-art galleries, including the Weston Gallery in Carmel, California.
