Promoting Human Rights and Education in Bangladesh (PHREB) is a non-profit organization without political or religious affiliation.

PHREB envisions a society in which every person enjoys all of the human rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international human rights standards. In pursuit of this vision, PHREB's mission is to carry out research and action that address and help preventing violence against girls and women, promoting gender equality and women's human rights.

Placing the advancement of women's human rights at the centre of all its efforts, PHREB focuses its activities on five strategic areas:

* Ending violence against girls and women,

* Promoting adolescents' sexual and reproductive health and rights,

* Promoting human rights, gender equality and social justice,

* Reversing the spread of HIV/AIDS among women and girls, and

* Promoting girls' human rights to education.
