I am Australian and have been living in South America for the last 16 years during which I have learned to weave many kinds of complementary and supplementary warp-faced techniques on staked-out ground looms, vertical frame looms and on my favorite-the backstrap loom. My travels have taken me around Bolivia, to Peru, Chile-where I lived for 5 years-and Ecuador. Most recently I went to Guatemala where I learned supplementary weft patterning.
I teach English here in Santa Cruz,Bolivia.
