AirDye® technology is a proprietary technology of Colorep Inc. that manages the application of color to textiles and other polymeric materials without the use of water or hazardous chemicals. AirDye® technology is an innovative way to apply dye to fabric and other materials that reduces costs and the environmental impact of the decoration process, as well as providing enhanced design capabilities and consumer benefits.

By eliminating water in the dyeing and decorating processes, AirDye® technology dramatically decreases water and energy consumption, as well as reducing the costs associated with the high volume of water consumption used during traditional dyeing processes. AirDye® technology allows companies to address the growing global concern with water waste, as well as reducing energy consumption, translating into reduced energy bills. In addition, the AirDye® process's ability to enable unit manufacturing significantly reduces inventory risk by better matching supply with demand, thereby improving customers' bottom line as well.

AirDye® technology is the economically sound, environmentally conscious approach to dyeing textiles and other materials, and also offers a multitude of design capabilities that are unattainable by traditional dyeing techniques, such as double-sided printing and dyeing in a single production step. In addition to enhanced design capabilities, AirDye® technology provides several consumer benefits as well. The AirDye® process is capable of adding certain performance features, such as anti-microbial and light fastness protection. However, its key benefit for consumers is the preservation of the fabric's inherent performance features. Since AirDye® operates without catalysts, water, harsh heat and pressure, most fabric features last longer or are enhanced by the process, including: wicking, UPF UV protection, stain and soil release, and bacteria/fungus/mildew resistance. Additionally, AirDye® technology provides consumers with the ability to wash products any way they wish with its "No Rules Wash".
