My name is Chantelle. My husband (Brian) and I have been married for 20 years and I guess you could say our lives and home pretty much revolve around our "fur-babies", currently 5 cats and 3 dogs. And of course always in our hearts forever is Our 1st Rotti "Duke" who passed in March 2007 from severe complications with cancer at 10 years of age. And most recently our beloved cat an orange & white tabby named Tango ...... much too young and so completely unexpected. : (

My husband and I are both passionate about Animals of all kinds and active in supporting animals rights and protection. Please support your rescues and other animal charities : )

We look forward to meeting other "fur-baby" parents, animal lovers, activist, artists, and in general just "good people" and sharing our stories and photos.

Our Tango passed today (Aug. 18th, 2009) completely unexpectedly..........Vet said he had Cancer which had spread to his lungs....
RIP Sweet Angel - We love You and will miss you so so very much.....You will live on in our hearts and memories. We thank you for the Love, Joy and Laughter you brought to our lives & home. You will never be forgotten.

there's something missing in my home
i feel it day and night
i know it will take time and strength
before things seem quite right

though some say it's just a pet

Tango was 6 years old and the Sweetest Most Loving Cat you could imagine - He adopted the foster kittens - our 2 younger cats(Powder & Levi- who are now 2 years old) as if he was thier mother, right off the bat. and he's not related to them at all.

We will ALL miss him terribly.......

We Love You Duke ! You will Never be Forgotten.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
