HME Jaschinski's photostream

Hi,
I'm a nature and animal lover living in Ontario Canada with my husband and daughter. We enjoy the rural life with horses, cats, chickens, and a dog.
I was a portrait painter for twenty years or so (oil paintings of pets, horses, kids, etc.) but tired of spending so much time in the studio. I picked up my first digital camera a few years ago and became totally hooked on photography. Before that my photographs were only used for references for my paintings. Since then I have been developing my skills as a photographer and recently upgraded to a Nikon D80. I am saving for a longer, better lens but for now I'm having loads of fun with what I have. I sell prints at small shows and hope to do more in the future. I am thoroughly enjoying seeing all the wonderful, creative work here on Flickr; what a great way to catch a glimpse of other peoples vision.
