I`m a quiet gentleman who is very relaxed but passionate about certain things.

I`m male, Taurean & have (1/2) Italian blood, so I do get outspoken at times.

I like engineering, I like design with either beauty or no nonsense functionality (ideally both!).

One of my Flickr pet hates is when people mis-tag pictures.

My loves are as follows...

My beautiful children
Women (I`ve never been with non-Black Women, thats just me)
Cars (primerily British or Italian but power, cost & size means nothing to me)
Music (VERY diverse! I believe all music has its own place in time)
The Internet! (where would we be without it!)
In that order!

On Flickr I spend alot of my time going off on tangents!

Most of my time is spent looking at cars on here, historical streetshots are also a firm favorite, especially of London.

I grew up in Palmers Green, near the Cambridge roundabout, moving away in the mid 90`s when I became a father, my parents still live there (was originally my Nans house, as a family we`ve been there since the 40`s!)

My fathers family came to Tower Hamlets when they came to the UK (a 2 bedroom flat off White Horse Road where all 5 grew up), My Mums side were initially based in Islington just off New North Road (also in very overcrowded flats). both sides later moved out to Hackney, Southwark, Waltham Forest & Harrow in the 70`s & 80`s, so I particularly love seeing period pictures from those areas & roads between those areas & home.

When I started driving 20 odd years ago I used to spend night after night driving around London & the home counties aimlessly with my friends, feeling the place out. I`ve also done quite a few driving jobs, including long distance lorry driving, so again, I love seeing period pictures of places I used to visit too.

People assume that London, the place thats seemingly been here since year dot, has barely changed over the years. Flickr has shown me this is in fact false, a hell of alots changed (& sadly vanished) in the last century, & sections are still disappearing on a daily basis.

I`m also addicted to checking car number plates in historical UK pictures to see how long they survived & I would love to find pictures of my old cars before I owned them (I`ve owned well over 150 in the last 20+ years).

Well thats me, I`m generally pretty easy to get on with & happy most of the time. I think that alot of people think I`m a snob becaue of my Jag & Porsche. I`m REALLY not! I do all the work on my cars, its not unusual for me to be sitting on my living room floor stripping a seat, gearbox or dashboard or cleaning a carb out in the kitchen sink! I`m not the stereotypical owner!
