Takayuki Akachi was born in Tokyo JAPAN in 1974.

In 2003, he traveled around Asia with super 8mm film camera.

The next year, he edited the archive and released his first film, "Too far west is east".

It was selected World Tour Film by resfestFILMfestival2005 and received the high appraisal in each country.

He started world travel to make a new film from 2006 and visited over 50 countries for 2 years.

While traveling, he kept shooting local people's lives.

Through these art work, he tried to expand the range of the image "World" as much as possible.

He keeps filming the people in all over the world still now.
