I grew up in Fridley and North Oaks, Minnesota with my parents and brother. Went to White Bear Lake High School and then moved up to Duluth, MN in 2000 to attend The College of St. Scholastica. I've lived in Duluth ever since.

For the past year, I was living at the Loaves & Fishes Catholic Worker Community in Duluth. We provide hospitality to people who are homeless and the marginalized by having our house open each day for people to come in and hang out, take a shower, and have a meal. We also have six single men staying with us in our house. Our community also tries to address the societal causes of homelessness, poverty, and violence. We interpret these causes as being the extreme emphasis on militarization and the huge gap between the rich and poor.

As of mid-September, I have moved down to Brooklyn Park to live with my parents. I felt I needed a change of environment and a place where I can reflect on where I want to go with my life.

I am so happy to have holisticgeek as my boyfriend and for all the wonderful times we have been able to spend together so far. I'm so happy to be much closer to him now that i'm in the cities.

I hope and act for a world free of poverty, oppression, hate, and violence in any form. A world where we can all live without fear, working together to create this new society based on equality, peace, love, and nonviolent coexistence.
