Was a Field Geologist ,voluntarily retired in 1994.took to sports/travel/dance photography .my pictures are used by newspapers/magazines/travel brochures/calenders/advertisers.etc.recently i joined the world's largest photography site 'flickr.com'.basically to show my dance pictures but now i am in the process of uploading my travel pictures taken on slide film during 1994-2000' as well. Every single picture is available on flickr site and the contribution by amateur photographers is unique and very creative.i tell every young photographer who approach me to look at flickr photos.'flickr' is a site where every/any picture can be found ,there is so much to learn from all photographers contributing to this site.but some people upload huge resized pictures say11000pixelsX8000pixels even with a 8 mega pixel camera.where is the need to do that
