Ok, I've been thinking about this (always dangerous :) ) and I realized it's just best to be honest. I am vain, capricious, flirtatious, friendly (unless you cross me!) and sensual. Of course, here sensuality is purely visual. I'm dedicated to my relationship, but I still love sexual expression in others and myself, without violating that dedication. If you're going to judge me by my favorites, or the groups I belong to, or the pictures that I post, you are absolutely correct in doing so - I am the amalgam of all of those things (btw, I know the difference between an amalgam and an amalgamation, I'm using the word deliberately :) )
So, this is me (or a public aspect of me) and if you explore my depths you may be outraged, charmed, curious (I just get curiouser and curiouser!) or just annoyed at wasting your time.
This is sort of a new leaf for me (I don't like turning over new leaves - you never know what you'll find!). So some of what I've written here before may no longer be valid. I may get around to fixing it - I may not. I may leave it as an exercise to the reader to figure out what no longer applies!

I don't mind if you add me as a contact, and I don't require it for you to favorite/comment on my photos, but, the photos available to contacts is a pretty small subset of the photos available to friends, so you might want to think about adding me as a friend - if you have no icon and no pictures, please send me an email asking me to add you as a friend and why. Also, I'm gradually removing all contacts - I don't really pay attention to what contacts are doing, and it gives me more time for my friends

Well, my return to flickr has taken longer than expected - essentially, the wheels fell off :( I'm moving back to PA for an indefinite time for work, leaving my lovely spouse to fend for herself in our beautiful new Tucson home (in the foothills, pool, fireplace, solar panels - ummmm!)

Here's something interesting - I was going to comment on a friends photo, and suddenly they no longer listed me as a friend - I don't think my comments were that offensive, and I checked and an earlier comment was still there - did I mention I was paranoid? But, just in case I had caused some offense, I deleted my comment, removed my favorite, and removed the friend designation. Please let me know if my comments are unappreciated - they don't tend to be sexual, although I always sign them "Kisses" or "XOXXOXO" which may, I guess, not be too everyone's taste. Any feedback is appreciated!
World's wierdest day - two more friends became non-friends - is it my breath? ;)

Have I ever mentioned that I'm sort of OCD? Anyway, I am sometimes confused by why my pictures don't get posted to groups - I think I'm as attractive as the ones who do get posted - but I found another group -

That wouldn't post my pics - the list of groups where you can find my pictures is getting smaller all the time!

Happy upcoming holidays, to anyone who happens to read this!
So, first, I have decided to temporarily (I think) allow public access to all my pics - they are restricted, however. I'll probably put a lot of them back to friends only in the not too distant future :)
Second, I mentioned before (again, I'm assuming noone read it) about not understanding the rules of the different groups about posting pics. This time, a friend of mine actually let me know that my pics weren't posted, because they didn't meet the criterion for the group - I read the rules, still couldn't figure out what I'd done wrong, so I quit the group - obviously, if I'm not getting it, then I'm just making work for the admins.
I do, however, want to thank the admin (she knows who she is, if she reads this) for letting me know. Most groups simply don't post your pictures, with no explanation given

It is kind of disappointing sometimes, some people add me as a contact, and I take a look at their profile, and I would really like to have them as a friend, but I generally do nothing with someone who adds me as a contact.
I am really enjoying my friends new pictures! So many pretty girls and so little time :)
Also, I tend not to comment on pictures with genitals showing - I have nothing against pictures like that, I just don't really know what to say!

Well, if anybody reads this, they may have noticed that my resolution not to post to groups lasted almost a day - I figured out the easy way to find out which moderators are posting my pics, so I can just quit those groups when they don't - easy-peasy!
Also, you may notice that I don't have a lot of favorites - that's mainly because I just haven't thought about it - I'm planning to start doing that soon. Hope it didn't seem rude!

Went out for the first time in Tucson! I have some pictures. It is a Transgender support group (desert gurlz) so I kept pretty subdued, jeans and top. Great people there! Hope to make some friends (in person ones).
Clubbing will probably have to wait until after Christmas.

I've been spending a bit of time on flickr lately, and I've realized that some of my behavior has been making life difficult for the admins of some groups that I've been posting my pictures to - there's an objection to seeing the same posts in all the groups. First, of course, I didn't realize there was some list of groups that everybody subscribed to, I assumed that I was reaching a different audience with different groups.
Also, the directions for the different groups has a lot of overlap - they are simply not clear on what pictures they want.
So I noticed that many of my photos posted to the groups were not getting approved by the admins.
I'm going to take a little break from flickr - I'll still be around to comment on my friends photos (you guys do soooo well, so many pretty gurls) and to read email, accept contacts, etc. but I'm going to quit posting my pictures to groups for the time being. If you're a friend or a contact you'll see my new pictures in the list of new pictures at the bottom of the home screen. If you make a request to post my picture to a group, I'll approve it - I just won't initiate posts.
While I do understand the decisions the admins are making, I'm not very happy with it.
Of course, since none of them will every read this profile, my protest is pretty meaningless.

Some people are very particular about who they add as friends - now, I'm very particular about which friends I keep in touch with :) but, in general, I love to share my photos, there are just some that shouldn't be generally public - THERE IS NO FRONTAL NUDITY, and I try to keep the back views tasteful (but with my taste, who's to say?)
I really feel for all the gurls who feel they cannot post pictures, or not post pictures of their faces - sometimes life makes it very difficult to do that. Although, I would like to say that, in general, people would not recognize you with makeup - I could show pictures of me to someone when I'm in male mode and many wouldn't put it together. Certainly, they're not going to figure it out from my online photos. Also, if they are looking at my photos, well, I have to assume they like t-gurls anyway.

I finally did it, I changed some permissions so that contacts can see some of my other photos - this is a subset of my larger photo stream, kind of a sampling.
I will be going through and changing anyone who has me listed as a contact and I have listed as a friend, to being a contact - not sure if that makes sense - let's try this
you have me as a contact, I have you as a friend, I'll switch you to one of my contacts.
If you add me as a contact, I'll add you as a contact (generally, I don't really worry about whether you have pictures yourself, unless you want to be a friend)

I was just going through my pictures, and realized that I had several that were public that probably shouldn't be (since I'm a crossdresser, and that, in itself, offends some people) So, if you were able to see pictures before that you are not able to see now, it means you were a contact and not a friend. I do have a new philosophy about adding friends, which is, I like people to be able to see my pictures, but I don't want to get hassled by people who have accidentally (????) stumbled on pictures of a cross dresser and are offended. So, if you add me, and it seems to me that you are of legal age, I will add you as a friend -- unless you make me angry - and you wouldn't like me when I'm angry :)

I finally took some new pictures! Yay! I have posted some and will be posting more. I have a whole "guitar hero" theme in white corset, fishnet stockings and high heels - if you can't see them, you haven't asked to be my friend!
I've been emailing with a friend of mine, Shania Lee, about Tranny snobs. Ultimately, I think that it would benefit all of us to stick together (kind of a sexy thought? sorry, I'll keep on point!) as long as we have this idea of passable (I can get away with this, to hell with the rest of you!) and non-passable (the rest of us) we're making all of our lives more difficult. The "passable" tranny who is found out is just as vulnerable as the rest of us! And, believe me, I run into this all the time, since I am not as passable as the younger, more androgynous trannies! Remember - we're all in this together!
btw - even if you don't want to admit it, you admirers are right there with us - think about explaining to your coworkers how you're attracted to a guy dressed in girls clothes!

I really do have a strategy about comments on my pics - I haven't told you until now because I am so totally bad at it! But, I generally don't comment on comments people make about my pics (unless I think I can say something cute, or smart, and I almost never say anything like that!) So, what I do is, go to the person who commented on my pic and say something about one of theirs, after all, if I put a comment on my own pic, well, that's just a comment on my own pic? - I never do this insincerely, btw, if I don't like your pics I won't comment on them. But when you comment on mine, it makes me remember that we are all part of this big big world (great children's show - I have a thing for Snook the sloth!) and we all need to appreciate each other! Now, many of you are going to say, I have cute pics, and I have commented on Kate's pics, and she has done bupkus! (can I say that here?) and, you are absolutely correct. I had this hiatus from the internet for many months (see below) and am scrambling to catch up.
I so totally appreciate all my friends - I was gratified to see, when I was cleaning up my friends list (see below - I know, I know, I keep saying that!) that on my friends list are some of the most beautiful, sexiest, cutest, bestest girls here!

So, while I should have been spending what little internet time I have answering emails (I know! I'm awful! If I owe you an email, I will respond soon!) I have been single mindedly making sure everyone in my friends list had me listed as a friend - kind of an obsessive thing to do. But I do have a reason. I really believe that we tgs/cds should stick together, and support each other, even if it's just adding someone as a friend when they add you as a friend. So, I have some guidelines for contacts/friends/family below. I don't think flickr notifies people when you remove them as contacts? But just in case, if you get one about me, that's where it came from! BTW, admirers are absolutely supporters!

I am slowly moving my pics into friend/contacts/family categories, and going through my friends and family to make sure I haven't mis-categorized anybody! (lord knows we trannies hate to get miscategorized!). Write me if I've gotten it wrong!

I am so trying to work out this flickr thing! So, this is what I plan to do - I am going to move some of my more objectionable (who's objecting?) pics into the friiends category - although, why seeing fake nipples on false breasts would be objectionable is beyond me! The contact pics will be just pics of me and my friends. Family pics will be - not nudity (unless tastefully done, and it fits the part :-) ) but, basically, pics that include my wife's lovely face. We're just kind of careful about that, so if you haven't actually met us in person, or I don't have some particular contact with you, you probably won't fall into the family category - this is no reflection on anybody!
Now, why would you be a contact instead of a friend? Well, one really good reason is that you list me as a contact. If you add me, and you list me as a contact (and you meet the other criteria below) I may add you as a friend thinking that you are not sure, shy, etc. If you don't eventually add me as a friend, I will make you a contact.

I think all of us tgs (that includes crossdressers! We are tgs!) are together in this, so, if you are a tg, I will generally add you as a friend. If I find your profile on flickr and add you, I will generally add you as a friend. I will probably keep track to see if you do the same, since I don't want to make people feel uncomfortable (or make myself feel unappreciated!)

Now we get into the tricky area of admirers. First, I love admirers! But admirers without pictures are a little scarey. However, if you don't have a picture, but send me an email, and ask me nicely, I may add you. I will at least tell you why I'm not adding you!.

I am back! I was banned from the internet for bad behavior (long story) and deleted my accounts - but I've gotten them back, and all my pictures are still here! Yay! So, if you simply think I've been a b**** by not responding, well, I still may be a b****, but that might not be an example!

I went out to Shangrila on May 17th 2008 and took pictures! The girls that made it there were so pretty! I had an awesome time - I posted a few pictures and will post more soon!
