Birds are such beautiful and interesting characters. I like to capture their expresssion as they go about their daily bid for survival. That is more important to me than producing a technically correct portrait that doesn't say anything about the character in front of me. Although to combine the two qualities would be terrific. Maybe one day!

"Janet is my favorite photographer on Flickr, well anywhere for that matter. Her photos make me stop in my tracks and study whatever she has captured.
I love to see the details in her compositions. Somehow she snaps photos at just the right moment in time. I love her animals and her nature shots, and I also appreciate her photos of her home region.
