Amateur hobbyist. Began all digital but have increasingly become more drawn to film. Older film cameras feel more natural to me these days, I love the sounds they make as shutter opens and closes. The lack of instant results was hard to get used to at first, but now I take solace in the turn around between clicking the shutter and seeing the negatives. It has taught me to appreciate the process of creating a photo more, rather than the end result. Grain has become a small obsession for me. For instance the way the grain of a black and white photo translates the sky differently than a digital version.

I haven't completely given up on pixels, but tend to pick up my dslr less and less these days. My photo stream, if traced back to its beginnings tells the story of my evolution as a photographer. Its a work in progress, and I'm ok with that.

"What! How am I the first one to write a testimonial for Jeff? Lucky me, I guess! Jeff's work is so consistently creative and unique. I can oftentimes pick his images out from a page of my contacts'. I like that he shoots such a wide variety of subjects, not limiting himself when it comes to landscapes, cityscapes and everything in between. In particular there are a number of his color pinhole images that have left an indelible impression on me, the kind that you don't forget even after logging off the computer. And he of course is well-versed in the world of Holga. His stream is, overall, a blast to view!"
