I'm now using a Canon EOS 7D with the Canon EF-S15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens and Manfrotto tripod. I only have a polarizer so far to fit this lens, but I hope to get a few other basic filters soon. Sometimes I borrow a 5DmarkII with wide angle lens. I shot with my first DSLR, a RebelXS for about one year and you can see many of these photos on the older pages of my photostream.

Iggie and I often go out taking pictures together and sometimes we go with a group of friends to find and explore new places. I grew up in Oregon, so New York is all new to me. We often travel to rural Pennsylvania and New Jersey on weekends. We have visited coastal Maine a couple of times and can't wait to go back soon!

I really enjoy doing long exposure work with moving water and low light or night photography. My favorite subjects are bridges, seascapes, historic places, waterfalls, and forests.

All my work to this date is single exposure. There are no HDR/layers/ blends displayed and only a few textured photos in my photostream. I edit mostly with Aperture for iMac.
