Az Karen...busy's photostream  

My name is Karen and I'm from Chandler, AZ. I have pretty much lived and grown up in Arizona, in the suburbs of Phoenix. At the current time I am unemployed, I was laid off in 2010 from a healthcare company that I had been working for, for over 10 years.
I have always loved to take pictures. When I would go out with my friends, I would be the one with the camera to shoot our adventures. In the past year, since my layoff, I have become more in to taking photos and in the past 7 or 8 months I have found a love for adding textures to my photographs, thanks to my mom, Happy Gram. She has taught me everything I know.
Recently I have decided to take my photography to the next level and maybe make a career out of it. I have signed up for the professional photography course with the New York Institute of Photography. I hope to gain more knowledge so I can take a better picture and then use that knowledge to make a little money.
I really appreciate all the contacts I have made on here and all the wonderful comments people leave for me. I hope to meet some of you in person some day so I can put a face to your name and wonderful images.
