I am a Korean Australian currently living and working in the pacific northwest. I've had an interest in photography for a few years now, and am loving the abundance of beautiful scenery around here.

I've been what you might call a snap shooter. Shoot 10 and hope that one of them turn out ok. Prior to digital that could be a very expensive proposition though, which is why I jumped on the digital bandwagon when the prices fell far enough. Not to mention that it definitely takes less time to do most of minior post processing than scanning slides / negatives. I still prefer the look and feel of scanned film though.

Starting to take it more seriously now, but my primary focus remains capturing the moment for myself and family / friends. I normally shoot with a pair of Nikon DSLRs:

D90 almost always with the 18-200 VR
D700 with a few lenses, but usually with Tamron 28-75 f2.8.

Sometimes (when I don't want to carry heavy camera bag!), I shoot with a Panasonic Lumix ZS3 instead, which recently replaced my 4 year old Canon P&S.
