I live in a small town in the mountains of North Carolina. I love photography and scrapbooking. I have been scrapping for about ten years. My passion is making pictures of my four grandchildren. They range in age from 6 to 17. They all have gotten use to seeing the camera coming toward them. God has blessed me in my life, and I thank Him daily. I just recently received a new Nikon D90 which my husband bought for my birthday and our 43rd anniversary. I've been using a Nikon point and shoot, so I'm ready to take on more creative photography. I had an old 35mm SLR and really loved it, I was one of those who didn't think they would like the digital world, but I was wrong. It makes everything so much easier.

I have just recently been venturing out and doing a little photography for people who need some special pics. This is so much fun - I really don't want to go into business, but i wouldn't mind making a little extra to buy my next lens. We can always find things we need, right!!!

I really enjoy seeing all the different types of photography on Flickr and i am always amazed at how talented so many of you are!

I have recently gone through my contact list and blocked probably a hundred or more - if i do not feel good about your site - or you use a block head image for your icon - or you have no profile - i will probably block you. Sorry, but it takes so much time to comment on the friends that i have made that I truly pick and choose my contacts very closely now. If I comment on your site I expect the same in return - if that is not happening - I will block you then :) ! Hope you understand, but I feel that is only fair - blessings to all my wonderful contacts and friends !!!!!!!!!!!
