  Isn't there a song..."My dolly lies over the ocean, my dolly lies over the
  sea?" Okay..we all know it's not dolly! But, one of my closest friends in this world is over the sea...and I've never even met her in person!
  
  Jo is one of the most kind, generous, loving, caring people I know! She demonstrates grace and strength when others hurt her, she's creative and makes beautiful things for the dolly's we love to wear...but more beautiful than that, is the beauty on the inside of Jo. If more people in this world were like Jo, it would be a much better place to live. How can I say that having never met her? I don't know...I have heard it said "actions speak louder than words." What if we see actions AND words, how loud do both speak?

  "When i look at Jo's photographs, I often forget that I am looking at photos of dolls. She manages to bring reality to every picture. She captures such emotion in them that I think of her dolls as people that I actually know. She is able to pose them in totally realistic forms. Sometimes they almost make me cry because I feel their longing, their heartbreak or their extreme joy. I don't think Jo even realizes the skill that she has as a photographer.
  
  Not only is she skilled as a photographer, she also makes gorgeous, creative clothing for the doll community. She crochets and sews wonderful dolly outfits.
  
  Jo also is very generous with encouraging comments for other people's photos. She always brightens my day, whether through her amazing photographs or comments that she makes on mine. I am very thankful to have such a terrific flickr friend!"
