I'm a Portland native who returned home in 2007. Photography has fascinated me for a very long time. Before 2001, I was a casual shooter, but then I got my first digital camera, and the rest, as they say, is history.

I am frequently astonished at the quality of work on display here at flickr. It's a great resource and source of inspiration. As I am always trying to improve my craft, I do appreciate honest, constructive criticism.
