Light is such a fascinating thing. Wave or photon, it creates impressions. Not just on the things that it reflects from, but on the overall quality and character of how we experience the world. Its impact on our emotions and our perception of space can be profound. And its reach, back through the history of our species, as a marker of how we more through time, is staggering.
Photography allows me to stop, look, and really "see" the places around me, the world that I live in and move through, every second of my life. Too often we don't stop to appreciate the complexity of the environments in which we participate (willingly, or, sometimes, not so).
I'm not quite a freight train... but bigger than a bread box!
