Always adored painting and I suppose a photograph is, essentially, a painting of light. The way a shadow falls and the manner at which the beams filter over and into the scene, pure or altered, and the temperament it sets.

Really pretty new at taking photography seriously, so bear with me through this. I dont have any equipment, just me and my camera. I love doing portrait work, prefer using other people, but someones not always around when I have an idea. But now I guess my self portraits have become a visual account or diary of how I felt a particualar day or week.

Sophmore studying to be an art teacher, still not sure if that's what i want to do. Live in a suburban area, but wish it was the country, someplace where my horizons aren't interrupted by power lines, buildings, and roads, someplace where the beauty of nature surrounds me.

Living in the United States now, but used to live in Germany, and have traveled to France and Switzerland. Peru, however, is my favorite country, the landscape and culture is indescribable . ..
