Biography:

Born at Chittaranjan,West Bengal(India).By profession a software Engineer working with SAS R&D India, Pune; however, inclined to pursue my dreams through Paintings. I have completed Masters in Computer Application from National Institute Of Technology, Durgapur. Since my childhood I have enjoyed drawing and painting .I have completed Junior Diploma in Fine Arts in 1994 and in 2004 Senior Diploma (“Ankan Rattan”) in Fine Arts from Bangiya Sangeet Parishad affiliated by Rabindara Bharati University,Kolkata. I have also enhanced my water color skills from famous Water Color Artist Milind Mulick. I have worked with different mediums like pencil, ink, pastel, caracole and water Color but Water color is something which always brings happiness to me. In my school and college days I have won many awards. I do this with great passion since the last 18 years and would continue the same with high zeal in the future too.

I strongly believe that Painting offers greater power to surprise our eyes with human creativity. In Today's life which is so restless we try different ways to comfort ourselves .Nothing soothes me as much as when I see any creative piece of work which comprises of Landscapes. I paint so that in my own small way i can help people come closer to this amazing experience.I remember, during my schooldays, when I had started painting with pencil and pastel colors and later I learned water colors,by far has been an enriching experience.This medium is very dynamic and helps me to channelize my energies to create something which mesmerizes my inner conscience. Landscape is something which appeals me always and I like to put all my emotions in the form of paintings. Nature is the best source of motivation to me. I have closely observed the work of some renowned painters like John Pick ,Samir Mondal ,Paresh Maity and Milind Mulick and i find their paintings quite contemporary which Positively influences and aspires me to Paint in synchronized ways.
