Blekfingur's photostream

Blekfingur means "Inkfinger".

I have always been an imaginative rather than good artist, which is why you will mostly find aimless doodles, trees, flowers, patterns, cartoon characters, monsters and fantasy subjects in my photo stream rather than realistic landscapes, animals or people. (For some reason I am good at painting animals, but not drawing them, and I may display some of my paintings later on). My school notebooks from middle school and university are full of margin sketches, and it's a rare meeting at work where I don't make at least one doodle or sketch on the schedule sheet or in my notebook.

Lately I have been getting better at drawing people, but I need to be relaxed and I need a long time to get things right, by which time my subject has usually become bored and moved on.
