Hello there...

I got into photography to take pictures of my paintings. I now really enjoy photography.

I started with a Finepix s100fs which is a very good camera. I have now moved on to a Pentax DSLR.

I really like the Macro photography; it’s amazing to see these small things up close. I have a Samsung D-Xenon 100mm macro lens. It is different to use the DSLR setup as it was for the Finepix s100fs.

I tend to shoot raw more now than jpgs as I really like doing the processing myself. It allows you some nice control over the image.

As far as my painting goes, I paint all kinds of pictures from simple bright paintings to almost photo realistic. I do like painting animals and I hope to paint more soon. I will also try to paint some pictures from the photos that I have taken.
