I'm a physics grad student whose first love, as hobbies go, is food and cooking. I found my way to photography when I'd had enough of my food blog looking so plain. I borrowed a Canon D60 from my dad in early 2009 and caught the bug.

I've learned a lot already--enough to be thoroughly ashamed of some of my early pictures--but I know I've just barely scratched the surface. I'm in a bit of a hiatus as I finish up this grad school thing, but I'm hoping to be behind the camera again soon.
