Steve took it says:
"I always love going through this photo stream, because I know I'm going to see things I've seen before, but never the way Barry presents them. The familiar surprises are always well done and fascinating. Thanks for making me take so many second looks!"

"Barry's photos of Chicago are just fantastic. He seems to be everywhere, shooting everything in Chicago that I would want to shoot. Even on some of the things that are often photographed, Barry brings a fresh perspective. No mere documenter, he brings a creative flair to all of his work. I'm from Chicago and have shot a bit of it myself but I just love his photostream. It's enchanting. Check it out - you'll be glad to see Barry's interpretation of a world class city. Spread the word!"

"Barry was one of my first contacts here on flickr. What first impressed me was his master skills of Photoshop. He has inspired me to learn more about processing photos. I never did any processing until I started viewing his work. (Which, by the way is fabulous.) I am now obsessed with learning how to do more in PS and better! Thanks, for that! ( I still need to upgrade to CS2, elements is slowing me down!)
He has a great eye, and consistanly produces wonderful images.
His photos of Chicago and his nature photos are top notch. If you are learning about photography he is a fabulous resource. I highly recommend that you view his work and get to know him.
He always has kind words and helpful hints. I am glad that our paths have crossed and so will you!"17th May, 2006
