I'm a collector.

Originally I collected Medieval Archer's thumb rings and now I collect space toys. Currently I'm collecting any space/sci-fi toys made in Australia and New Zealand except those linked to an overseas TV show or movie. Not sure why I shy away from the latter but they just don't seem to interest me.

I'm also a Re-enactor largely interested in the Central Asian Turcoman nomads during the "medieval" period hence my first collection being Archer's thumb rings.

I've always had an interest in space travel and science fiction and finding that both Australia and New Zealand were involved in making space toys is an absolute bonus. I'm really having fun finding out about the companies that made these toys as well as discovering details on A&NZ manufacturing and mid-20th century history for both countries.
