Male living in Newcastle in the north east, UK. I enjoy taking photos of architecture, macro, abstract, candid, urban settings and derelict/decayed objects and buildings. I would like to learn HDR and photoshop, but not really there yet!

I am a bit of a Flickr addict and regularly view photos in my groups and from my contacts. I tend to comment on photos I like and like to hear your feedback too. If you like my photostream add me as a contact and I'll usually reciprocate.

I am always aiming to learn how to take better photos and learning from other people's photos always helps. If I add you as a contact I probably think your photos are pretty special!
I started with a Sony Alpha 200, but have just upgraded to the Alpha 550. I have been on a couple of courses to improve my photographic knowledge, but advice and comments are always welcome. I have just bought a 50mm portrait lens and i am experimenting with just using that as it forces me to move to compose the frame rather than just zoom in and out.

If anyone in Newcastle or the NE is interested in meeting to take photos let me know. I'd like to meet some new people to share our photography knowledge and challenge each other to focus on something different.
