  "One of the things that I like about photography is that it gives you the chance to see the world through someone else's eyes. Every morning, before I go to work, I have a quick browse through the latest additions to Flickr. I find it a much more uplifting experience than watching the news at the moment.
  
  Eric is one of my favourite Flickr contacts. I look forward to seeing his daily posts, as his photos capture a world full of colour and variety. We are based in the same county, so it is particularly interesting to see what catches his eye as he wanders through familiar haunts.
  
  In one moment he directs our gaze to details, textures or patterns that could easily be overlooked and in the next he stands back to reveal the vast skyscapes and stunning landscapes of Suffolk. It is a journey worth taking.
  
  As you scroll through his Photostream you are aware of Mac, his beautiful border collie, running alongside him out of frame most of the time. It is a red letter day when Mac pauses long enough to make a brief appearance. Mac - I extend a friendly pat your way :-)
