Photography: Painting with light.

“Light glorifies everything. It transforms and ennobles the most commonplace and ordinary subjects.” – Leonard Missone

For as long as I can remember I have had the desire to paint or draw .... to capture the world as I saw it. Not possessing the talent for painting, I was given my first camera at age ten. Since that time a desire has turned into a passion. I have driven my family insane with my non stop clicks... my cameras go wherever I do ..... literally.

Working originally with film which I still miss, I prefer prints as the definitive way to display images, in print the photographers initial vision is faithfully rendered and preserved. Here in Flickr I do share what I can digitally.

When it comes to subject matter people have always been my preference. There is nothing more intriguing or as beautiful as the diversity of shapes found in the human form.

Just recently I purchased a Fuji X100 to give street style photography a go, am having a blast. The camera is awesome.

I thank each one of you for sharing your images, so that I may have a brief glimpse of the world as you view it through your lens.
