In March of 2009, I was shopping for a replacement point-and-shoot, mostly for the obligatory kid pics. On a whim, I bought my first SLR - a Nikon D60. I now see the world around me - the light and the shapes - so differently. When I watch TV (big Lost fan), I now pay more attention to the camera work than to the plot. I'm having fun studying all your shots on Flickr and and learning from them. Thank you!
