In the beginning, like most crews I suppose we formed simply because 'that was the thing to do' in the graff game.
Having letters after your name made you feel like you belonged to something. Made you feel that you were part of something bigger than yourself:
a group
an entity
a crew
Who knows. Some things defy normal labeling. They are not comfortably placed into a specific box.
WD in truth isn't factually any of the above things. It certainly isn't 'a graffiti crew'. 'An eclectic mix of writers?' Maybe! But not a graffiti crew.
A 'family' maybe? It's a bit of a cliche but 'Family' is probably most apt.

Anyway! The WD 'Family' is now 25 years old so here's a few photos of our shit. Enjoy! . . Coz we did.
