Hi! My name is Markéta, but sometimes I am called Tsuki (月), which is my nickname. I am living in Czech republic in Europe and currently I am studying japanology at Charles University in Prague. I am interested in Japan, japanese culture, manga, kawaii stuff and movies. ^^

はじめまして、マルケータです。でも時々月と呼ばれています。私のニックネームですから。ヨーロッパのチェコで住んでいて、今ではプラハのカレル大学で日本語を勉強しています。興味があることは：日本・日本の文化・漫画・かわいい物・映画です。^^

Pardon my english and japanese (^_^;). My english is not entirely perfect and my japanese is not really good yet, although I think I improved a lot during those 3 years I have been studying this language.

Oh, and I almost forgot - I am a panda and matcha lover! ♥ ^o^



Me and kawaii stuff

I got to like japanese kawaii stuff several years ago, but it was not until my stay in Japan in 2010 that I actually decided to collect this stuff. I brought home some kawaii memo pads and stickers from Japan and seeing all that fabulous kawaii world in Japan, I got to love it even more. By the end of 2010, I decided to focus on my sticker flakes collection, but I also collect kawaii memo pads with designes I like. Of course, my collection is not that big yet, but I want to thank people who are selling kawaii stuff (in their e-shops or elsewhere) and helped widen my collection that way:

Kawaii dislikes
♠ dogs
♠ real animals (apart from pandas)
♠ some faces with noses (I find them unkawaii)
♠ most of Sanrio characters (apart from Cinnamoroll, Tenorikuma, Sugarbunnies, Pandapple and some others)

I don't consider Disney "kawaii" (if anything - it's cute, but not like japanese kawaii stuff :)), but I have to add it here - Disney is also more like "dislike" for me. I liked it when i was little, but not now, since I know all those kawaii japanese characters which seem much cuter to me.

My kawaii wishlist

There is some old kawaii designed stuff I'd really like to own in my collection, but it seems these rare items are really hard to find these days...
