Hello! I am half Dutch, on my mother`s side. My father was a Londoner. I have lots of hobbies, I never get bored, I have too many interesting thoughts in my head all the time. I enjoy photography, film-making, gardening [especially gardening design] mosaicing, films, writing, handicrafts, drawing, designing, museums, Georgian and Victorian architecture, London parks and discovering secret gardens. My father was a postman and a free-lance photographer in his spare time. I have lots of his work in some of my sets.

I`m into vintage furnishings and decoration. I don`t follow trends or fashions, I have my own style. I am not interested in having the latest this or that, but am content with what I do have and am always looking for something to wear that shows my own expression of fashion.

My favourite style is Art Deco and Arts and Crafts. I enjoy science fiction and old films, This Happy Breed, Hope And Glory and The Time Machine are three of my favourites. Among my most loves songs are `Colourblind` and `There`s A Small Hotel`. I like 30s swing music and romantic songs from the 30s/40s, as well as modern and classical music.

I have made so many lovely Flickr friends and just want to take this opportunity to thank all of you for being so nice and friendly. I hope you enjoy looking at my pictures and thank you for visiting me here.

At the moment I am preparing to move house, I`m `excavating myself` from posh Kew over to almost as posh Canonbury, which is in Islington, north London. My world is full of cardboard boxes at the moment and packing materials, so any excuse to escape it all is welcome.
