I'm Dan. I'm an IT Analyst and I live and work in South Wales, UK.
I first became interested in photography around March 2009, a couple of months before a road trip around California.
I purchased a Canon 450D and have been taking photographs (fairly)regularly ever since.

I took a break from Photography between January 2010 and June 2010 for the birth of my daughter Evie.
Soon after I replaced my trusty 450D with the EoS 50D, with the intention of taking the hobby a bit more seriously - lets see how that goes!

Landscapes are definitely my preferred area of photography, I love how it gets you out of the house and allows you to appreciate nature. Although I don't restrict myself to just one subject area.

The main reason for this photoblog is to share some of the photographs I've taken from around South Wales and anywhere else I go on my travels and to track my progress as an amateur photographer.

I'd appreciate any constructive comments or critique. Please, feel free to share your opinion.
