The Empowerment Tour recently logged its last stop. But the scholarship opportunities – and your responsibility to pursue them – still exist!
President Obama kicked off the 2009-2010 school year with an address that urged American students to take responsibility for their education. Meanwhile, millions of American adults are desperate to reclaim that responsibility – to finish high school, to attend college, or to pursue the graduate study their careers require.
This summer, eLearners.com and the sponsors of the Empowerment Tour helped to ease the crisis these Americans face. As the job market evolves, more and more of tomorrow’s careers will require college degrees. Men and women who can’t afford to go back to school, or who don’t know where to begin, may be left out in the cold.
The 2009 Empowerment Tour brought a team of career coaches to cities across the country, along with 4 million dollars worth of college scholarships. From Miami to Milwaukee, the tour team met with under-employed and under-educated Americans – providing individual career coaching sessions, scholarship opportunities, and motivational resources.
Even though the Tour itself is now over, the eLearners.com Career Stimulus Package is still accepting applications. With many of its full-ride scholarships yet to be claimed, www.careerstimuluspackage.com is waiting to hear why you want to go back to school. Take responsibility for your education, and apply today!
