I bought my first D SLR (a Canon Rebel XTi) in March of 2008 and about 8 months after that I moved up to a Canon 40D and now a 5D Mark II, which is my current camera. I shoot with a variety of lenses of which my favourite is probably the Canon 24-70 f/2.8L. Being bitten by the strobist bug as well, I have a few Canon 580 EX IIs, stands and light modifiers.
I rarely do any post-production work on my photographs aside from cropping, exposure and perhaps some minor curve adjustments. There are two main reasons for this: 1. While I'm learning I prefer to do as much in the camera as possible and 2. I do not as of yet have the Photoshop skills.
My photo stream is about me learning photography and desperately trying to find (and tap) a long dormant creative side. I welcome any and all comments, as like many others on Flickr, I am trying to learn as much as I can and improve my skills.
