I've always enjoyed photography by other people and hope to improve my own skills by viewing the wonderful array of photographic art available on Flickr. I've met many nice contributors on Flickr who are more than willing to give advice and encouragement.
Growing up here in what was then rural South Carolina, the only camera I can recall the family having was my sister's Kodak Brownie. We didn't document much of the wonderful family life we had. I hope to do a better job of capturing the later years of my life, including friends, family and places that mean so much to me. .I am retired.
