I predominantly practise architectural, sculpture and a small amount of landscape photography — mostly using Nikon DSLRs with a bunch of Nikkor and Sigma lenses; very occasionally a Lumix, and a trusty old Rolleiflex.

Unless there is a privacy restriction, I usually include geodata in my own topographical shots, indicating camera position — it's appreciated when others take the trouble to do likewise. Opinions occasionally expressed in the image descriptions are mine alone and nothing to do with the Flickr hosting service; I do try to be positive most of the time!

Being of reasonably sound mind and taste I never use HDR tone-mapping, although sometimes fuse exposures especially on interiors. I aim for affirmative realism in my photographs.
