Since my children were small I've loved to make sugar cookies and decorate them. It used to be just a Christmas and Easter tradition. The last few years, I've been collecting lots and lots of cookie cutters and making cookies for every season, holiday, or event.

In early 2008, I was introduced to a cake website/forum and learned so much there about how to achieve a more finished and professional look to my cookies. Since then I've been experimenting often and finding my niche in the cookie world. It brings me such joy to bake and decorate cookies! There's nothing better than giving a cookie to someone and seeing the joy and smile it brings.

In March 2009, I decided to "donate" my cookie skills to help raise money for missions work our church does in Borislav, Ukraine. What a joy to raise money for the Lord's work. :-)

P.S. If you want to add me as a contact or favorite my photos, I would ask two things of you. First, that you are a regular contributor to Flickr with photos of whatever hobby/craft you are involved in. Second, that you do not "favorite" an unreasonable number of my photos. This would tend to make me think that you are planning to copy my cookies.....which is a huge no-no in the cookie decorating world. If you are not a regular contributor to Flickr and/or you are favorite-ing more than a handful of my photos from time to time, I will block you.
