I am 61 years old (or young) and I like to photograph interesting automobiles, trucks and buses since I was 15. My special interest are vehicles of the thirties, forties, fifties and sixties. When I was five years old I saw an interesting car standing at the curb and I managed to spell out the make: S T U D E B A K E R. Arriving at home I ran to my mother and cried: 'Mama, ik heb een Stuitebakker gezien!' ('Mom, I saw a bouncing baker!'). Another day I spotted a Hotchkiss but I named it 'Hotskist' (bumping case). Well, that was the beginning of my big passion for automobiles, trucks and buses.
