I'm an enthusiastic but strictly amateur photographer of the "point-and-click" variety, trying to get better with experience! Based in West Sussex, I specialise in transport scenes (especially trains, buses and trams; also railway stations); general urban scenes; churches and places of worship; and buildings and architecture in general - mostly in my local area (but I have travelled by rail all over Britain, and have a diverse collection of rail pics).

Many of my pictures are taken with the purpose of being uploaded to Wikimedia Commons and used on Wikipedia, where I am a regular contributor, especially to articles about Brighton and Hove, Crawley, and churches and listed buildings in Sussex. I am very interested in the history and development of Crawley and the city of Brighton and Hove, and will always try to provide some background information for each photo I upload (of which there will be many - I have a huge collection from the past 2 years!)
