I am a returning photography enthuisast from using film. I use to use a Nikon FG20 camera. Then a Centon DF-300 with a Centon 28-70mm lens. I now as of March 2009 bought a Nikon D40 with the 18-55mm kit lens.

I was looking further up the field like the Nikon D300 when it first came out but as I was returning to photography I didn't want to spend so much on my first digital camera as the accessories would probably match the cost of the camera. Hence the Nikon D40 made a better bet & allows me to focus on the composition of my shots.

Since October 2009 I have upgraded my camera to the Nikon D90 with the Nikkor AF-S 35mm 1.8G DX Lens. This just offered me better options that I can add to the camera when I need to. Composition is still my main priority.
