I am a new photo enthusiast jumping out of point and shoot mode this past fall(2008). Like many of you I have become a Flickr addict! I have tried to keep my mind open to photographing a variety of subject matter, but I am continually drawn to flowers and nature! Hopefully it does not create a boring photostream. I am learning photoshop, but am not terribly efficient. I would like to do more, but spend so much time photographing I am not as dedicated to the study of photoshop. I am truly enjoying this art! It is bringing so much to my life.
We live in Kansas near Kansas City. We love it here and there is so much opportunity for many types of photography. Everything except ....the beach and ocean:( I am in the interior design field and love all types of art. I am not an artist for sure, but love doing all types of creative things.
Please give me any and all input on my photos. I have a long way to go and really want to improve my skills! I am learning so much from all the wonderful photographers on Flickr. I have never experienced a hobby or craft where people are so willing to help you learn!
