Since I was a child I felt closely connected to nature and all living beings ... I spent hours and hours upside-down (hanging from a big chair, in fact, lol), playing and talking with visible and unvisible friends, animals, spirits ....
Since that days I deeply believe, that we create our reality - by our thoughts, by our emotions, by our visions, by our dreams.
The old ways of spiritual development as well as being closely connected with Nature, living as a part of Her - let them be rooted in European origins or Native traditions from other continents - always touched me deeply and guided me ....

So i made a profession out of this love for Nature and worked for many years in the garden-architecture-, landscape's planning- and environmental protection- field ... for big companies as well as in my own firm.
Documentational photography of landscapes, animals, plants, nature was an important part of this work - but never under criterias of beauty or esthetics.

Having given up my first profession to follow the call of my heart - to become a teacher, a trainer, a therapist for seeking people, I work fulltime with people now.

The love and connection to nature, gardening, wild-craft, indigenous plants, creating habitats for animals, is part of my private life.....And so is photography - only one of the things, I love to do - and there are too many .... :-)
And what a joy, that during these last decades digital cameras were developed. Giving me the possiblity to just experiment, learn, play, let my mind fly, gather experience ... as much as I want.

As Zen says "A beginner's mind" is not the worst state of mind ... :-))

I am a beginner in photography ... and I feel, I will always be ... (even when I hope, that I can improve a bit in technical terms ... lol)

I have met many many great photographers here on flickr.
Artists, dreamers, creators - and you all inspired and inspire me more than you can imagine, and very often much more by your visions and dreams than by your photography alone.

I am still searching and experimenting with ways to express what I see or feel or what is important to me
